About the founder
Dr. Rhodri Thomas is a passionate dentist whose background as an artist spurred on his love of aesthetic dentistry and now dedicates his work towards truly blending dentistry into nature with his clinical focus on advanced aesthetic restorative dentistry.
An internationally renowned educator and multi award winning dentist, Rhodri lectures and teaches and lectures around the world on the subject of aesthetics. To this day he is still the youngest speaker at multiple events including the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and the Masters of Masters Congress, and youngest author for the prestigious Journal of Cosmetic Dentistry alongside receiving a record breaking six consecutive national awards as best young dentist under 35.
He was the winner of British Society of Prosthodontics Heraues Kulzer Prize for his research on tooth wear and he has also pioneered and published a new resin layering technique, developed two new resin systems and his own dental instrument, whilst also authoring five books based purely on resin and ceramic artistry.
Passionate about teaching and sharing with other dental professionals, Rhodri is honoured to be Resident Faculty at both The Centre for Esthetic Excellence in Chicago and Stribe Dental in New York. He is also the founder and director of The Art of Dentistry, a series of unique international training programs and aesthetic-based courses for dentists.
He believes every clinician has a natural creative ability inside of them and enjoys nothing more than helping to ignite it.
About Art of Dentistry
The Art of Dentistry was born out of a love for sharing and creativity. Its goal is not only to seamlessly blend artistry with dental techniques but to inspire, to create a sense of fulfilment and a community of artists worldwide.
My mother was a teacher and I always wanted to do the same, I often sat at the back of her classroom and admired the way she so engaging and saw the joy each of her pupils experienced. This always stayed with me as so when I was first offered to lecture, only recently having graduated, I compiled a series of lectures I had been making for my own enjoyment hoping one day I too would have my own classroom. This small event quickly evolved into more and more talks, catalysing the passion for aesthetic dentistry that already existed within, eventually international invites came and then my own courses were created, developed and refined.
Over the last six years we have now trained thousands of dentists from over forty different countries in fourteen different international locations. Hopefully sharing a little bit of inspiration along the way.
Dentistry as a whole is a logical series of processes that intertwine with craftsmanship. We all have burs, tools, materials, technicians and patients. The separating factors are intrinsic motivation, manual skills, creative vision, applied experience and a touch of knowledge.

Dr. Rhodri Thomas
Dr. Rhodri Thomas is a passionate aesthetic dentist whose artistic background as a landscape painter enhances his work.
His keen eye for color and composition allows him to recreate the natural beauty of the mouth. An international lecturer and published author, he shares his expertise at conferences and in leading dental journals.
He has received numerous prizes, including the British Society of Prosthodontics Heraeus Kulzer Prize for his research on tooth wear and has pioneered a new resin layering technique. Notably, he holds records as the youngest speaker at the AACD and the Masters of Masters Congress, and he has won the title of best young dentist under 35 at the British Dental Awards six times.
As the founder of Art of Dentistry, he offers unique training programs and aesthetic courses worldwide, believing in every clinician’s innate creative potential and enjoying the opportunity to inspire it.
Dr. Andi-Jean Miro
Dr. Andi-Jean Miro earned her dental degree from New York University College of Dentistry. While at NYU, she completed a one-year advanced clinical concentration in Aesthetic Dentistry. Dr. Andi then went on to complete a prestigious one-year Clinical Residency in Brooklyn, NY. After that she joined the prestigious Apa Rosenthal Group in NYC.
Dr. Andi stays up to date by attending nearly 300 hours of continuing education courses a year. Dr. Andi is passionate about teaching and all things dental education. As a co-founder of Stribe she hopes to bring high quality dental education to the masses in an easy way.
Dr. Andi was the recipient of the “Rising Star Evy Award” in 2017 from the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry and is a member ambassador for the organization. Dr. Andi currently holds several academic teaching positions. She is an Assistant Clinical Professor at New York University College of Dentistry in the Aesthetic Dentistry Department, and a clinical instructor and lecturer at the Rosenthal Institute Hands on Aesthetic Advantage Continuing Education program in New York.
